About TDI Golf

Restoring Golf Courses with Precision and Craftsmanship

Who We Are

Our History

TDI Golf was first established in 1987/1988 by founder and president Geoff Corlett, as a specialized golf course drainage company.
By 1990, the company had expanded its mission to include drainage, construction and restoration services for the golf industry.
In 2004, TDI Golf’s sister company XGD Systems was created to focus exclusively on drainage system installation, while TDI shifted its offerings to concentrate on golf course restoration.
The quality of work completed by TDI Golf has earned the company accolades from the golf course industry and business world.
The two sister companies continue to work closely together on major projects.
Our Philosophy

Guided by Purpose. Driven by Craftsmanship.

Our Mission

We provide great outdoor playing surfaces to the high value turf industry through excellence and innovation in precision construction services and techniques.

Our Values

We believe in precision, respect for golf course heritage, and delivering reliable solutions that help golf facilities maintain exceptional playing conditions for years to come.

The TDI Golf Advantage

Built for Better Drainage

TDI Golf’s advanced drainage solutions are designed to optimize subsurface performance, lowering the water table and promoting deeper, stronger root systems for healthier turf.
Unlike traditional surface drainage methods, TDI focuses on managing moisture below the surface — where it matters most. By installing precision-engineered drainage systems, we improve soil structure, enhance oxygen flow to roots, and eliminate excess water efficiently.
Our approach ensures consistent playing conditions, improved turf durability, and faster recovery — even after heavy rainfall.

Oakmont chose XGD as a long-term solution after conducting thorough research into the process. It was a proven procedure and was our only option to avoid rebuilding the putting greens. The Club is now experiencing great effects from the XGD system. We are able to recover much quicker following rainfall events. Overall, we are also able to provide better quality playing conditions on a daily basis for our Members and their guests. The ability to move water through and out of the profile has also helped us to provide healthier turfgrass. We have talked to countless people regarding XGD across the country and to our knowledge, no one has reported anything but success.

John F. Zimmers, Jr. Oakmont Country Club

The installation of the XGD drainage system by Matt Magarian and his crew could not be doing a better job. They have brought playability back to portions of our 17th fairway that have been drained. We received 2″ of rain 3 weeks ago. #17 fairway typically is the last fairway to open up for cart usage. Post installation on # 17 fairway of the XGD on 8′ centers, we were able to drive carts over the entire area without leaving behind the usual tire tracks. There was NO standing water and the outfall pipe was flowing with water. It is a tremendous process. The crew has been very neat while working off of plywood the entire time. It is a process that our property has needed. I strongly recommend other golf courses that have similar wet conditions, to install your system. It works! You should be proud of your team.

Jim Colo, The Alotian Club

Glen View Club very much appreciates the expertise and dedication of your personnel during installation of the XGD subsurface drainage system on ten of our greens in April and May 2007. XGD’s team worked efficiently and in close coordination with our Superintendent, Tony Frandria, and his grounds crew with minimal disruption to member play on the golf course. Our membership was very impressed with the process and the results. The XGD system was not invasive to our greens which were ready for play a day after installation of the green drainage. More importantly, the XGD System is effective and cost efficient. We look forward to your firm returning in October to complete the project for our remaining greens.
